One day, three disciplines, forty frames. A short diary of the Ravine House commission — our most-viewed set of the season.
We arrived at first light. The brief was simple to say and hard to do: make a large, dark-timber home feel warm and intimate without losing its scale. That meant tracking the sun through the house and shooting each room in its best hour rather than in plan order.
Stills, film and air in a single visit
While the stills built through the morning, our cinematographer worked a slow gimbal pass for the film, and the aerial went up in the last of the light for the twilight exterior. One visit, one consistent grade, one eye across all three.
The house didn't change. The light did.
The twilight frame led the listing; the reel did the rounds on the feed; the plans answered the questions. The property was under offer inside the week.
