Seven questions that separate a media supplier from a media partner — worth asking before you book anyone, us included.
Most studios can take a nice photograph. Fewer can turn up on time, grade to a consistent house standard, and hand back a named, organised asset set that your admin team doesn't have to untangle. The questions below surface the difference quickly.
The questions
What is your turnaround, and is it guaranteed? Who actually shoots — the person I'm speaking to, or a contractor? Do you grade to a consistent standard across stills, film and aerial? What licence do I get, and for how long? What happens if the weather turns? How are files delivered and named? And — can I see a full set from one property, not just the highlights?
Anyone can show you their best frame. Ask to see a whole set.
The answers tell you whether you're hiring a supplier or a partner. For a listing that matters, you want the partner.
